Major Projects Undertaken
Major consultancy projects undertaken are as under:
- Dammam- Jeddah Expressway. Investigation and geotechnical report for 5 bridges along the Dammam - Riyadh stretch.
- MSRTC for their Bhayander Depot which was on a reclaimed tidal flat.
- MSRTC for their Borivali Depot.
- MTNL buildings on soft clay deposits/ marine clays.
- HPCL tank foundations on marine clay.
- Multistoreyed buildings constructed on tidal flats near Versova- Juhu Areas.
- Design of several structures (like roads, ware houses and buildings) resting on soft clay, for ground improvement which included sand drains and stone columns.
- Proposed flyover funded by MMRDA, MSRDC etc. for M/s SPAN consultants at Andheri (West)
- Foundation Stability assurance for Several Industrial Structures for New India Assurance Co. Ltd.
- Geotechnical Report Multi storeyed Car Parking facility in Saudi Arabia.
- Transmission Line towers for SCECO, Saudi Arabia.
- Managing Geotechnical laboratory for ARAMCO (Arabian American Oil Co.).
- Investigation for Flyovers, Tank foundations and other allied structures for Industrial city of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, under the Supervision of Bechtel. Work included proposals for ground improvement in tidal flats.
- Material testing and Quality Control for Highways including Quarry suitability, Asphalt mixes, Compaction control etc.
- Quality Assurance Materials for NHAI project. Kolhapur to Belgaum from PMC- SOWIL India.
- Quality assurance for Dronagiri roads- CIDCO.
- Review of DPR for SOWIL NHAI project, Trichur to Kerala Border.
- Hydraulic design for lowering of ground water around retaining wall and raft type foundation, DB Mall, Dainik Bhaskar Group, Bhopal.
- Layout preparation of Kurla terminus area (90 acres) for Central Railways.
- Design of retaining wall for bridge over Damanganga River for PWD, Daman.
- Soil resistivity tests at Enron LNG Phase II power plant, Dabhol.
- Alignment of PALM BEACH Road for CIDCO, New Mumbai.
- Preparation of PERT and CPM charts for M/S B.G.Shirke, for various MHADA Layouts in Mumbai City.
- Repair Works, CGHS, Four Bunglows, Andheri.
- City Development Plan for Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation for Metro Infrastructure Project Solution Pvt. Limited, Mumbai.
- Feasibility and Detailed Design for the 4-laning Access Controlled Dhaka-Chittagong Portion of National Highway No.1” in Bangladesh with SAI consultants, Ahmedabad, India.
- Station Area Traffic Improvement Studies (SATIS) for Andheri Railway station in Mumbai in association with Transportation and planning group, Mumbai, India.
- Consultancy project on Preparation of bay plan for a rotary at Kalwa bridge, Thane, Mumbai, India for S.N.Shah and company Ltd.
- Traffic and Transportation Consultant on “Project preparation of Palanpur to Udaipur of NH – 14 & NH –76 in Gujarat / Rajasthan, India” under Asian Development Bank loan assistance programme” for ‘Sheladia Associates & Consultants (India) Pvt. Ltd.’
- Traffic Consultant for feasibility study of flyover bridges between Majura Gate and Udhana Gate Junctions at Ring road, Surat in India for Gilcon Project Services Ltd. India.
- Joint venture of TCE, UNISON and XCC engineers for improvement of western express highway from Kandivali to Dahisar about 10 Km stretch involving Road Over Bridges, Flyover, Pedestrian Underpasses and Vehicular Under Passes in Mumbai, India.
- Associated with Arup Consultant at Dublin, Ireland for development of passenger terminal interface for Dun Laoghaire, DART station.
- Feasibility study of Haji Ali – Wilson College viaduct in co-ordination with IIT Bombay, India.
- Study of feasibility for Bandra – Kurla railway line, India, in co-ordination with Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority.
- Feasibility study of Bandra – Worli Sea link project of Maharastra State Road Development Corporation, India in coordination with IIT Bombay, India.
- Feasibility study for flyover at level crossing at Chunabhatti, Mumbai, India.
- Measurement of Land for Adarsh Society At Ghatkopar.
